The Virje Terminal is located between the small towns of Virje and Molve in the Đurđevac municipality. The distance between the Virje Terminal and the town of Virje is approx. 3 kilometres, while its distance from the town of Molve is approx. 2 kilometres.
The functions of the Virje Terminal are the following:
- by means of the metering station, measuring of crude oil quantities transported
in the direction to or from Hungary into our system, and then to the users;
- possible repumping of crude oil from the Virje Terminal to the Lendava Oil Refinery.
The pipeline section from the Sisak Terminal through the Virje Terminal up to Szazhalombatta (in Hungary) is reversible, thus providing the possibility of crude oil transportation in both directions.
Used for crude oil storage at the Sisak Terminal are as follows:
- one tank with nominal capacity of 20.000 m3
- two tanks with nominal capacity of 10.000 m3
Total capacity = 40.000 m3.
