Omišalj – The first cargo of crude oil arrived on Saturday to Omisalj port, Croatia, following MOL Plc’s contract with the Croatian oil pipeline operator company JANAF Plc., for the transportation of crude oil, which has been signed earlier this Summer.
The contract between MOL Plc. and JANAF Plc. covers transportation of cca. 240.000 tonnes of crude oil for the period between 1st of August and 31st of December 2013. The cooperation between the two companies is not recent as this route has already been used in earlier years. The new cooperation in crude oil transit will be a continuous project. The crude oil will be pumped via JANAF system and Adria pipeline system to Duna Refinery.
